BOILER WATER PIPES

PLUSAMMINA®, AZAMINA® and CONDITIONING series for anticorrosive and anti-scale conditioning of boiler water, hot and superheated water circuits, steam circuits, condensation return.

We also have a range of products suitable for conditioning circuits whose steam is used on foodstuffs, for sterilising surgical instruments or for other specific uses, requiring an absolute pureness.

The amines used in the formulation of these products are among those permitted by the Americam FOOD and DRUG ADMINISTRATION for steam intended for contact with foodstuffs.

In any case, FACCI SERVICE SRL can supply chemical products that allow to respect the analytical parameters indicated in the different regulations and by the manufacturers.

Our products are formulated complying with the CTI-UNI 7550 standard and complying with European regulation 97/23/EC known as PED for the conditioning of steam generators, superheated water circuits and district heating.

As regards the instrumental controls of thermal power stations, it should be specify that FACCI SERVICE SRL has instruments for controlling the most relevant parameters.

Also for thermal plants, our technicians usually also carry out surveys, with planned visits, for the determination of dissolved oxygen in the feed water, using a high-sensitivity measuring instrument such as ORBISPHERE.

DISPERSANT, SEQUESTRANT

for anti-icing, anticorrosion and biocide treatment of water used in open or closed cooling systems.

These products are synergic blends of organic compounds with different functional groups.

The different percentages of the individual components and the presence of some functions with a high specific effect mean that the single products find applications and optimal yield in particular conditions solving specific system problems.

For cooling systems, the instantaneous corrosion potential of a circuit is measured by installing special probes.

Connecting the probe to portable instruments such as the CORRATER makes it possible to detect and record the corrosion rate directly in millimetres per year.

ALGAECIDE

The formation of algae or other organic deposits in industrial or service water circuits for civil use is a phenomenon that can cause problems of various kinds, such as obstructions in pipes, muddy patinas in tanks and reservoirs, possibility of corrosion, decreases of the coefficient of heat transmission.

Based on the above considerations, FACCI SERVICE SRL has formulated a series of products ALGHICIDS – BACTERICIDES – FUNGHICIDS with different chemical composition, that practically cover all the fields of employment in the industrial circuits and in that of the services for civil use presenting low ichthyo-toxicity and the practice harmless towards the man.

Considering the recent problems of biological development inside the circuits of sanitary water distribution: biofilm and Legionella Pneumophila, FACCI SERVICE SRL has developed a series of specific products for the prevention and the abatement of the Legionella.

Our analytical service also includes the analysis of the same and the drafting of the Risk Assessment of infection by Legionella spp. and its implementation of the Legionnaire Risk Minimisation Plan.

ANTI-CORROSIVES, INHIBITORS

The protection of circuits supplied with raw or purified water is provided by alkalizing, filmogenic or dispersing chemicals.

The ANTI-CORROSIVE films of FACCI SERVICE are organic films intended to protect reservoirs, pipes, closed circuit exchangers, supplied with water of the most varied characteristics.

Their protective action is not dependent upon the materials used in the circuits.

Our product range consists of efficient products on iron, copper, aluminium, bronze, brass, cupronikel, Miragliato surfaces.

FACCI SERVICE ANTICORROSIVE SERIES products are particularly suited where different metallic surfaces are present in the same circuit.

Clearly, the choice of anticorrosion to be used depends on the characteristics of the water circulating in the circuit to be protected.

Particular attention should be paid in the case of acid washes where it is necessary to choose an effective INHIBITOR suitable for the material to be protected and the type of acid used.

The storage conditions of power plants should also be taken into account during shutdown periods.

COOLING CIRCUIT

The use of water in various technological applications, such as fluid cooling circuits or industrial equipments, direct cooling, evaporation towers, frequently causes problems due to encrustation and corrosion.

For the treatment in operation of plants that use rough or softened water in cooling systems, specific formulations are available which, used continuously, keep the cooling circuits always clean and in a condition that ensures maximum efficiency, optimize their performance, avoiding costly stops for upkeep.

WASTEWATER

Electrolytes with different formulations are used in primary water treatment, wastewater treatment and selected industrial treatment phases.

Choosing a suitable polyelectrolyte depends on different settings and depends on the plant and the desired result.

POTABLE WATERS

CLARIFLOCCULATION AND SEDIMENTATION

Anionic and cationic polyelectrolytes (the latter for biological sludge) used both for coagulation and for flocculation processes.

BLEACH

They are particular polyelectrolytes that perform their action by a flocculation process, in order to incorporate in the flakes that form the color present in the liquid to be treated and remove it by subsequent decanting of the flakes themselves.

ANTI FOAM

Foam formation is a phenomenon that can occur in some phases of industrial processes and in sewage treatment plants.

The causes of foam formation are numerous and are usually caused by the presence of surfactants applied in several industries.

Other substances, especially organic substances, may also foam when the water containing them is agitated or aerated in any way.

The elimination of foam is, therefore, a very important problem and, moreover, it must be addressed with products that are compatible with the industrial or final waste water treatment processes.

Anionic and cationic polyelectrolytes PWG (Potable Water Grade) series, with monomer content less than 0.05%.

DECAPAGGI E LAVAGGI

The presence of oxides, processing residues, organic materials and deposits generally in value generators, pipes and circuits can cause a number of phenomena that compromise their functionality.

The total removal of these deposits is possible through chemical washing to be carried out with specific products suited to individual needs.

These specific problems have been studied by FACCI SERVICE SRL which, in evaluating each individual case has prepared a wide range of products and services to meet the multiple needs.
